Later...
"I need you to stay in the car until I check out the house. Even though it looks abandoned, Clarissa may very well still be lingering around," Julian said to Aiden after they pulled into the driveway of Clarissa Bollinger - his blackmailer. "And I'm not asking this of you, Grayson. I'm telling you. So please, stay in the car until I come back to give the all clear."
"Alright, I got it," Aiden muttered, his emotions all over the place. "Just... I don't know, be careful in there."
"I'm always careful," Julian replied with a smug grin before exiting the car.
Aiden watched from the car, his adrenaline pumping, as Julian extracted his gun while he approached Clarissa's house. The place really did look abandoned; the grass looked like it hadn't been cut in weeks, and there was moss creeping up around the windows on the front of the small house.
As shabby as the place looked, it was perfect for a squatter.
No one would ever think that someone actually lived here and if Clarissa did or not, Aiden and Julian would soon find out. But if it were the latter and it turned out that she didn't stay here, it would mean that all this was nothing more than a dead-end and that Clarissa is probably still out there on the loose somewhere, plotting her next move against Aiden.
"Holy shit!" Aiden exclaimed after he saw Julian kick the front door of the house in, only to later disappear inside it. And it was then that Aiden waited... And waited... And waited some more until almost ten minutes had gone by before he grew completely restless in the car. "To hell with this shit."
Aiden hopped out of the car, against Julian's wishes, and marched towards the tattered looking house. He just couldn't help himself. He didn't like feeling so... useless , so he couldn't sit in the car idly and do nothing! Not only had his curiosity gotten the better of him, but Julian said that he'd come back for him after he checked out the house and that was almost ten minutes ago.
So where the hell is he?
"Smells like feet and ass in here," Aiden said to himself as he entered the filthy house.
Unsurprisingly, the place had been completely gutted on the inside which is what he expected to see given how bad the outside looked. As Aiden went further into the house, it was more than evident that Clarissa hadn't lived here in a very long time. The walls were a nasty dark gray, the carpet was littered with trash and what would've been the living room held no furniture at all.
The kitchen looked even worse. Dirty dishes were scattered everywhere and pieces of spoiled food were dispersed about the counter tops. Aiden didn't dare to open the refrigerator to see what might be inside of it.
This is sickening! Aiden hurriedly exited the room and then started walking down the dark hallway. It was a two-bedroom house and all the doors in the hall were opened, so he assumed that Julian had checked them all.
"Jesus Christ..." Aiden gasped in shock and fear after stopping at the door to the room that Julian had been standing inside of. "What is all this?"
Aiden could now see why Julian hadn't come back outside to get him because he was frozen in shock thanks to what covered one of the walls inside the room - about fifty plus pictures of Aiden Grayson. Clarissa had dedicated a whole damn wall to him.
"Damn it, Grayson! I told you to stay in the car," Julian yelled at his boss for the very first time. Aiden could do nothing but stand there and gawk at him in response. "This partnership isn't one-sided, it works both ways. I have to listen and follow directions from you, but you also have to do the same for me. It's for your own safety, do you understand?"
"If you get any more upset you might actually combust." Aiden cracked a smile, trying to lighten the tense mood in the only way that he knew how – by joking around. "And for the record, I waited in the car for ten long ass minutes before I came in here. When you didn't come back for me like you said you would, I got curious about what it was that was holding you up. Now I know..."
The wall of pictures looked similar to that of a police investigation board. Not only had Clarissa been following Aiden around for only God knows how long, but she also had been writing down on the wall how often he visited a certain place, the dates of when he'd leave town, and she'd even went as far as to list what Aiden was wearing on the days that she caught him out.
"She's been stalking you for a while now," Julian said to Aiden after he returned his attention back to the wall of photos and scribbled handwriting. "I don't know for how long but she's been keeping close tabs on you. She's obsessed with you and this is way more serious than what we originally thought."
"No shit," Aiden murmured in a low tone, his stomach tied in knots. "Document this, take pictures or do whatever you need to and let's get the hell out of here. This place makes my skin crawl and I need a fucking drink."
He left the room with quickness and now more than ever had he longed for a cold, stiff drink; something potent and dark in color. He needed something that'd make him forget everything that he just saw. He needed to do something to help soothe his rattled nerves before he cracked and came completely undone.
"This is the craziest shit that I've ever seen," Julian thought aloud while he snapped a handful of pictures of the wall using his cell phone.
After he finished, he got the hell out of the creepy, smelly house with haste. And as he made his way over to his car, panic set in when he saw Aiden slumped over in the passenger seat with his head resting against the dashboard.
"Grayson! Are you all right?" Julian shouted when he ran towards the car and flung the door open. Seconds later, Aiden's head flew up, his alluring green eyes blinking wildly at Julian. "I'm sorry, I thought you were...you looked like you were...you know what, never mind."
"Guess I'm not the only one that could use a drink right about now," Aiden smirked at his startled bodyguard.
"I think you might be right." Julian blushed. He shut Aiden's door and walked around to the driver's side of the car to hop in. "For once, I may actually have to break protocol and take a drink while on the job."
He wasn't happy about it but he couldn't deny that today hadn't shaken him up a little. And as he pulled out of Clarissa's driveway, neither he nor Aiden looked back.
"We need to contact the police and get them out searching for Clarissa," Julian said. "Surely if we get the authorities involved that'll be enough to scare her out of hiding."
"No," Aiden whispered as he stared out of his window, lost in his thoughts. "I don't want the police involved in this. I want to handle it quietly and very discreetly. I don't want to cause a big mess because the press will be up my ass every time I go outside if they knew that I had a stalker out to get me. All the attention would be focused on me and how I'm coping, which would only make the situation worse while that evil bitch slips further and further into the background, making it easy for her to hide out and plot her next move against me."
Julian could see where Aiden was coming from; however, he wasn't at all in agreement with his stubborn boss.
"Then what other course of action do you suggest we take?" Julian asked.
"I'm not sure yet, but I know that I need to up my security," Aiden answered. "You wouldn't happen to know of any private investigators, would you?"
"I'm afraid not." Julian shook his head. "But I can look into that for you once we get back to your place."
"That'd be great, thanks." Aiden positioned his seat all the way back, shutting his eyes while trying to tune out all of the drama that was currently surrounding him. "This might be the very first time where I actually want to go home and stay inside for the rest of the day. I just want to drink my liquor in peace and get wasted in the safe confines of my home." His full lips curled upwards into a smile. "Yeah, that sounds like a fantastic way to wrap up this shitty day."
Maybe for you but not for me, Julian thought to himself as he drove. I'm going to have to be the one who's forced to put up with your drunken ass for the rest of the night...
Julian knew that was the truth and he was already annoyed at what was to come.

Episode 2..
09. PART 2
"Hey, wake up! We're home." Julian shook Aiden awake in his seat. "I'm going to do a quick sweep around the house."
"Oh, okay. I'll be upstairs at the bar if you need me," Aiden replied in a sluggish tone as he exited the car and walked up to the door of his too
big-for-just-one-person mansion.
This has been such an insane day,
Aiden thought to himself when he reached his bedroom. He hastily peeled out of his clothes and slipped into something a little bit more comfortable: a pair of pajama pants. Nothing else.
Feeling dejected after winding up empty handed with Clarissa, for the first time today, Aiden walked to his bar and poured himself a drink. In an odd way, it almost felt wrong doing it, but that wasn't enough to make him put the bottle of liquor down.
"I've really missed you, baby." He sighed before placing the tiny shot glass to his lips.
By the time that Julian came into the house and searched every room out of precaution, Aiden was already working on his sixth shot of whiskey. Before Julian entered the bar, he went into his bedroom to change clothes.
"Save some for me" Julian grabbed a shot glass from around the bar and sat on a stool next to Aiden's as he poured himself a drink. "I'm actually not much of a drinker but after what we witnessed back at Clarissa's place, I could really use a couple of shots right now."
"Is that so?" Aiden glanced over at his bodyguard and found himself staring at the man a little too hard as he took note of Julian's new outfit: a fitted black tank top and basketball shorts. "So you're telling me that you've never run across a psychopath or two in your line of work before?"
With a smile, Julian turned to look over at his boss and shook his head. His bright brown eyes looked magnificent underneath the low bar lights and his smile...damn, if there wasn't something about his smile that made Aiden feel way too intrigued.
"Wow, I find that hard to believe," Aiden said.
"I guess I've had to deal with a few crazies here and there, but none of them had been as wild as what your woman is." Julian took another shot, trying his best to pretend that his boss didn't have wandering eyes.
"The only time I've seen the same weird shit like what Clarissa had on her wall was on an episode of Law and Order."
"Well, let's hope that this doesn't end like a Law and Order episode because I'd definitely hate to wind up dead in a ditch somewhere," Aiden chuckled.
He felt a little buzzed but that didn't stop him from taking yet another shot. He'd honestly lost count by now for how many drinks he's had.
"I guess it's a good thing that I have you here to protect me from harm, huh?" Aiden eyed Julian again.
Julian stilled in his seat when his eyes locked onto Aiden's vibrant green ones. Various emotions washed over Julian as he sat at the bar and stared at the glossy eyed playboy sitting next to him. Abruptly, he felt taken off guard, a little uncomfortable, but also a little turned on, though he could say that he was mostly turned off because he didn't know if this was actually Aiden flirting with him or his drunken alter ego.
"I think I should maybe get going." Julian found the strength to stand, but before he could go anywhere, Aiden grabbed him by the hand. "Grayson..."
Julian knew that he could've easily pulled his hand away, but he didn't. Why? He had no fucking idea. He was honestly too flustered to try and think of one.
"Please stay and have another drink with me," Aiden said to Julian with a lazy grin on his face, and after a few more seconds, he dropped Julian's hand in order to fill up his empty shot glass. "I don't want to be alone right now, so don't make me beg you to stay because I will. I have no shame tonight."
Shit, what am I fucking doing right now? Julian thought. I shouldn't... I can't...
"Alright, just one more drink." Julian succumbed and reluctantly took his seat. "Pour me another one, boss."
"You got it." Aiden did as he was told and then passed Julian his shot glass. He downed the drink within seconds. "So, tell me something - you and the ginger, were you two serious?"
"Yes," Julian replied with hesitancy as he began to wonder why Lance, of all people, was on Aiden's mind. "We dated for a year before eventually splitting up; so yes, we were pretty serious. Why do you ask?"
What Julian really wanted to say to Aiden was why do you even care ?
"No reason, just curious." Aiden shrugged his shoulders and took yet another shot.
His thoughts were all over the damn place and so were his feelings for his handsome bodyguard. And in his discombobulated state, Aiden didn't know which to focus on - the head on his shoulders or the one growing stiff in between his legs.
"So why'd you two call it quits after being together for so long?" Aiden asked. "Did he cheat on you or something?"
"No. No one cheated on anyone" Julian replied, uncertain of why he was even revealing all this to Aiden.
"My job got in the way and it took up way too much of my time, time that I should have spent devoting to Lance and our relationship. After a while, we both got fed up because we couldn't be with one another in the way that we wanted, so we ended things."
"But you two are still friends? Isn't that awkward?" Aiden's words started to slur. "I don't...I don't get it. I'm so confused, Jules."
"Alright, I think you may have had enough of this," Julian chuckled at the sound of his nickname, one that his best friend Cassie had given him when they were younger. He grabbed the bottle of whiskey from Aiden and screwed the top back on. "Let's get you to your room because if I leave you in here alone you'll probably wind up passed out on the floor."
"What about your parents? What do they think about that...about you being gay?" Aiden leaned against Julian as he helped steady him on his feet.
He wouldn't tell his bodyguard that he could actually walk on his own because Aiden wanted to feel Julian touching him...he wanted to feel Julian's skin against his and he was too drunk to care about how wrong this was, professionally.
"Do they still like you?" Aiden asked.
"My father and sister accept me and love me unconditionally," Julian answered as they walked down the hallway, holding onto each other.
"My mother, on the other hand, says that she cares for me but it's hard to believe her when I know what she really thinks about me - that I'm bound for hell unless I repent for my sins." Julian scoffed in disgust at having to repeat his mother's words.
"She sounds like a close-minded, homophobic bitch!" Aiden snapped.
He may be an asshole from time to time, but he still had a heart at the end of the day. And when it came to Julian, a guy that was as nice as nice could get, it enraged Aiden to know that Julian's own mother, his own flesh and blood, would treat him worse than shit.
"I'm sorry, but it's true," Aiden said.
"It's okay. I've thought the same thing about her once or twice before," Julian chuckled. "Ever since I moved out of my parent's house, I've never let anyone disrespect me or try to tear me down because of who I am, or because of who I like. Hell, it's not like I asked to be put here on this earth. It's not my fault that I"
"Julian, listen..." Aiden slid away from Julian after they stepped inside his bedroom. He spun around and, using all his strength, pressed Julian into the door, closing it. Aiden then finally asked the question that'd secretly been lying heavy on his brain since breakfast this morning.
"Why am I not your type, Jules?" Aiden's arms were outstretched with his hands palming the door as he looked Julian directly in his enticing brown eyes. The look on his face right now was a startled one and it made Aiden grin wide. "Do you not find me attractive? Not even a little bit?"
Aiden pressed his body further onto Julian's to where no space was left between them. They were literally body to body and for the both of them, it was hotter than hell; but for Aiden, it was incredibly arousing in the most confusing and sensual way.
"Say something, please," Aiden whispered.
"You need to get a hold of yourself, Grayson. I don't want you to do or say something that you'll later regret," Julian said in a shaky tone. "You've had way too much to drink..." Aiden continued to stare at him, smiling hard. "Cut this out right now, I mean it."
"Why won't you just answer my question, Julian? Stop being so fucking difficult." Aiden felt not only incredibly turned on, which was new given that Julian wasn't his regular cup of tea - a woman, but he also felt bold; bold enough to where he brought a hand down from the door and cupped Julian's face, running his thumb along Julian's bottom lip as something dark and provocative stirred from deep within him.
"Holy shit," Aiden panted, his body shuddering with lust. "Do you feel that?"
"Grayson, please..." Julian tried to hold back a moan and for things to have even gotten this far - for him to be moaning up against a door with his boss - he knew that he needed to put an end to this and fast.
He grabbed Aiden's hand and removed it from his face, but it was too late for Julian. His heart was racing and the erection in his shorts had already become too hard for him to ignore.
"You don't know what you're saying, or what you're doing! I need you to snap out of it, Grayson," Julian begged. "I need you to"
"Shut up and make me," Aiden smirked, his green eyes blazing, and after giving in to his feelings completely, he leaned forward and pressed his lips to Julian's.
Aiden's entire body trembled in response to them kissing, and as it deepened, as their moans got louder and as their tongues moved against one another's in the most erotic way, all that Aiden could think about was how he wanted more ... A fire currently burned inside of him that only Julian could extinguish.
Unfortunately, Julian wasn't playing the role of a firefighter tonight.
As good as the kiss was, Julian eventually came to his senses and pushed Aiden off of him, with a little too much force. Aiden staggered backward and wound up collapsing onto the center of his bed.
"Damn!" Julian muttered breathlessly, still hyped off the adrenaline that coursed throughout him. "Are you all right?"
Julian sprinted over to the bed and examined Aiden; his eyes were closing shut but he still had a smile on his handsome face. He was still alive and breathing.
"I've never been rejected before," Aiden whispered in a soft tone. He tried to grab hold of Julian's hand but Julian wouldn't let him. He sulked. "Why don't you like me, Jules?"
Aiden wouldn't get an answer, not today at least because his eyes closed shut. He passed out.
"Fuck !" Julian muttered as he dropped to the floor for a seat, holding a trembling hand to his tender lips as he replayed over in his mind the crazy kiss that he and Aiden just had. "Fuck! What have I done?"
Shaking his head and feeling disappointed in himself for not having more control over his actions, Julian leaned against the bed and fought to keep his mind from wandering to places that he knew were forbidden.

It's not my fault that I
"Julian, listen..." Aiden slid away from Julian after they stepped inside his bedroom.
"I need you to
"Shut up and make me," Aiden smirked, his green eyes blazing, and after giving in to his feelings completely, he leaned forward and pressed his lips to Julian's.
